It's All a Learning Process

Zeus by far, has been the most challenging horse I have ever ridden, but yet one of the few that has taught me beyond my years. What its like to have patience, when he was learning how to run and turn correctly but yet bad habits came back to mind. What its like to understand that the little things matter, little things that tied into my patterns that took nights, days, sweat and tears just to achieve. What its like to get patient with myself, knowing that sometimes I didn't do my part and thats okay. He's taught me to forgive, knowing that he and I make mistakes and we will forgive each other for it.

I have learned to love a horse that I never thought I would. People doubting him and I, butting heads constantly and getting so frustrated with myself I wanted to give up. But I didn't. I kept going, pushing myself and him. I would have never forgave myself if I did give up. He has taught me so much and in the end all the blood, sweat and tears were so worth it.

In the end, he's my best friend and I wouldn't trade him for the world. No one can replace him, he's made a big impact in my life

You were so worth it buddy

#DontGiveUp my friends its all worth it :)
