Freshman Meet #2
For the first day aka Friday March 9th, 2018 I decided to ride my horse Zeus. Now, he isn't in shape and is just a fluff monster. It took me about a year to really figure out his bells and whistles. If you know me I say this a lot; he is not a easy horse to run. It took a lot for me to learn how to get up and correctly ride him. But in the end all the blood sweat and tears were worth it.
He did so well, I went in the arena thinking just go for it, push past and don't let his shoulder get on the poles. He did everything I asked him and I didn't ride him the best I could. It was no where near our fastest but I was just so proud of him, all my hard work finally payed off. He didn't fight me or have a mind of his own, we worked together as one.
Saturday
Athena did so well on saturday, it was her day to shine and she did just that. Keyhole even with me pulling her back most of the way down we took second with a 7.6sec (which ironically the guy who took first got a 7.5 and the first meet I took first with a 7.5 and he got a 7.6! Lets who who gets best 2 out of 3) and poles we kinda took a few wide weaves but it was my fault. It was clean though! Bi-Rangle my partner Camryn and I took 3rd with a 27.0 with room for improvement in cross over and some wide turns. Thats all I could ever ask for, specially since almost everyone was having a hard time doing just that. Beyond proud of my horses, all my hardwork paying off afterall!
